Katja-Anina Brosius is an interdisciplinary media artist, storyteller, poet, vocalist, meditation coach, and contemporary mystic whose work is devoted to exploring the relationship between consciousness, spirituality, nature, and sound. Inspired by silence, prayer, meditation, and the wisdom traditions of native as well as Venusian cultures, she creates immersive poetic experiences that invite audiences beyond everyday perception and into deeper states of presence, reflection, and inner connection.

Growing up in multilingual Luxembourg, Brosius developed an early fascination with language, etymology, sacred texts, and ancient prayers. Combined with decades of contemplative practice and a profound exploration of mysticism across cultures and eras, these influences have shaped a distinctive spiritual artistic language.

For her audio collages and compositions, she uses different techniques such as binaural or ambisonics to 3D-spatialize sounds, vocals, instruments or other sonic narratives.

Through her long-term artistic research project Starseeds – Light In Our Cells, she creates meditative spaces for consciousness and transformationand experiences that transcend cultural boundaries especially for spaces of the public health sector. Mostly shown as an immersive audio and visual arts installations, her artistically created sanctuaries of presence are spaces where time slows down, audiences are invited to reconnect with themselves.

Her works have been presented internationally in museums, galleries, festivals, clinics, and public institutions, including the ZKM Karlsruhe, Tate Britain, YUZ Museum Shanghai, IRCAM Forum at NYU, Hôpital Kirchberg, and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Berlin.

Brosius holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Media Arts from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design and was a member of the research group KIM – Artificial Intelligence & Media Philosophy.

Her projects have received many grants and fellowships, amongst from the Ministry of Culture Luxembourg, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, the Fondation Indépendance, and the Quattropole Music Prize.

Katja-Anina Brosius previously published artistic works under her ancestral family name, Rubin.

Besides her work as a media artist, she also takes great pleasure in giving concerts at ceremonies. Retranslating and interpreting traditional songs from ancient languages such as Hebrew or Latin in order to place them in a contemporary, poetic context is an important part of her songwriting.
