Eng Rees duerch Toun, Mythos a kreativt Schafen
Mir entdecken hir Bedeitung an hir Symbolik a tauchen an d’Geschicht vum Sistrum an: Wat ass dëst geheimnisvollt Museksinstrument? Wéi eng Roll huet et am alen Ägypten gespillt, a wien huet et gespillt?
Duerno féiert eng geféiert immersiv Meditatioun an de Sonnetempel vun der Gëttin Hathor. D’Meditatioun gouf vun der Kënschtlerin selwer entwéckelt a geschriwwen. Si verbënnt Stëmm, Gesank, selwer komponéiert Klangwelten a verschidden Instrumenter zu enger atmosphärescher Rees, déi dozou alued, an déi eege bannenzeg Welt anzetauschen an e Raum ausserhalb vum Alldag ze entdecken.
D’Meditatioun ass op Däitsch a Franséisch verfügbar.
No dëser gemeinsamer Rees gëtt d’Erfarung ganz konkret a kreativ: All Participant*in gestaltet a baut säin eegent Sistrum. Eng grouss Auswiel u Materialie steet dofir zur Verfügung. Dobäi ginn och bewosst Materialie weiderverwend an an en neie kreative Kontext gesat – Upcycling als Deel vum kënschtleresche Prozess. Wien wëll, ka säin eegent Material matbréngen an et op dës Manéier zu neiem Liewe verhelfen.
Zum Ofschloss komme mir an engem gemeinsame Gespréich zesummen, fir eis iwwer déi entstanen Sistren, mee och iwwer déi perséinlech Andréck an Erfarungen aus dem Workshop auszetauschen.
E Workshop tëscht Toun a Stëll, Mythos an Aktualitéit, Meditatioun a Gestaltung – eng Invitatioun, d’Hathor net nëmmen kennenzeléieren, mee hir och eng eege Stëmm ze ginn.

A Journey into Sound, Myth and Creative Expression
The workshop “Goddess Hathor’s Sistrum” brings together meditation, sound art, mythology and creative making in a sensory and immersive experience.
We begin by encountering the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor – goddess of love, music, joy and feminine creative power. We explore her significance and symbolism and delve into the history of the sistrum: What is this mysterious musical instrument? What role did it play in ancient Egypt, and who played it?
This is followed by a guided immersive meditation leading into the sun temple of the goddess Hathor. The meditation was conceived and written by the artist herself. It combines voice, singing, original soundscapes and various instruments to create an atmospheric journey, inviting participants to enter their own inner world and explore a space beyond the everyday.
Litios Light Crystals accompany both the meditation and the subsequent creative process.
The meditation is available in German and French.
Following this shared journey, the experience becomes tangible and creative: each participant creates and builds their own sistrum. A wide range of materials is provided for this purpose. Materials are consciously reused and given a new creative context, making upcycling part of the artistic process. Participants are also welcome to bring their own materials and give them new life.
The workshop concludes with a shared conversation, offering an opportunity to exchange impressions and reflect on the sistrums created, as well as on the individual experiences and insights arising from the workshop.
A workshop between sound and silence, myth and the present, meditation and creation – an invitation not only to encounter Hathor, but to give her a voice of one’s own.
The guided meditations are available in Luxembourgish, German, French and English.
All workshops are open to participants of all cultural backgrounds. Unless otherwise stated, the workshops are designed for adults and young people aged 12 and above. Younger participants may also be welcome, depending on their individual abilities, interests and level of independence. Young participants shall be accompanied by an adult.
For children aged 8–12, I offer specially adapted art and meditation workshops. In these formats, the meditation, creative activities and overall structure are tailored to the children’s age, needs and attention span.
